Caroline Sauvageot est une romancière qui a passé plusieurs année à côtoyer des artistes de styles différents comme Emma Daumas, Blackrain, Tokio Hotel, Jan Sievers, Patrice ou Marc Terenzi tout en s'immergeant en parallèle dans le monde des fans. Cette double expérience lui permet de dresser un décor précis et unique du monde du rock où se croisent stars et fans, rêveurs et opportunistes.
Elle a 33 ans et vit dans la petite ville de Migennes, dans l’Yonne.
