Deborah de Camaret

I was born in Chicago, raised in the suburbs, educated in public and private schools, including a New England prep school, married a Frenchman, moved permanently to France, and taught English as a foreign language, received a Masters in French literature, returned to the US, studied psychology and established a practice in California, returned to live in France, where I have a private practice.
"Orvil:Trial and Error" is my first novel. As an ex-patriot, and disturbed by what I perceived to be negative trends in American culture and politics, I was motivated to explore these issues using fiction as a vehicle. This melodrama, both comical and tragic, cuts across different socio-economic, racial, and professional categories.
