Résumé
The word “emptiness” carries a fundamental ambiguity within it. In everyday language, it evokes absence, lack, or even the collapse of meaning. Yet in many philosophical and spiritual traditions, as well as in certain contemporary approaches to science and psychology, it refers to something else: not nothingness, but an openness, a space of possibilities that makes forms possible. This book enters into the dialogue between ordinary perceptions of emptiness and its deeper, sometimes paradoxical, understandings.
There are books that seek to explain the world, and others that attempt to slightly shift the perspective through which we perceive it. Emptiness: A Void Full of Effects belongs to the latter category.
